Jayco 1207 Sink drain not flowing

Good morning. Our sink is not draining properly. I tested everything after de-winterizing. I saw the drain was a little slower after last summer. Figured the first trip would loosen anything up. It was a slow trickle for our first outing this summer and not usable. Once we were back home, I disconnected the upper and lower lines to the trap, and blew out a bullet size chunk of putty like substance. I hooked everything back together and it drained perfectly. Now we're on our next trip and having the same drainage problems. I've already disconnected all the lines, snaked, and cleaned out everything as best as I can tell. Still getting the slow trickle. I've got the typical pressure regulator attached to the camp water source, and the water pressure coming out of the faucet is normal. Is there a hidden vent or air gap issue? Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Roy

What year is your 1207? The configuration of the sink cabinets has changed a bit over time. Depending on if it flips right or folds forward, the drain plumbing is different.

If yours has a side wall discharge, make sure that there is an air gap at the end of the hose that you use to discharge into a container. Mine always got very slow if the hose end dipped below the water level in the receptacle.

Thanks for your reply. It's a 2014 model, and the sink folds forward. It drains from the bottom of the camper in front of the wheel. At the time, it wasn't setup to drain into a waste container, so there shouldn't have been a problem with an air gap. Now that we're home again, I'll trouble shoot some more.

Thanks...

The fold forward ones have different plumbing from side flips, think it was some sort of hose contraption that could kink? I remember a thread here about it with similar issue, will post a link if I can find it.

Found it: https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...els-42240.html
Hope there's some help there for you!
