Jayco 12sc new purchase.

Just purchased my very first trailer!

This week we purchased a 2018 Jayco 12sc for our family and would appreciate any advice with regards to what is required to outfit it properly.

We don't get the trailer until mid to late May.

Congrats! we bought the 2017 12SC as our first trailer last year.

this is one of the best things I bought for it. BAL 28050 Light Trailer Tire Leveler. you can get on amazon. get a battery powered drill and 3/4in socket adapter bit. 3/4in bit is also used to run the stabilizer jacks up and down. also get yourself a propane level guage. A easy up canopy is a nice addition next to the awning for when it rains. get a 30amp/15 amp plug adapter for when camping in the back yard. Get a good heavy duty 12/3 extension cord. a cheap broom, popup garbage can, tarps can all be stored under the mattresses when traveling. we bought silverware, pots, pans, knives, paper plates, spices, etc that all just stay in the pop up. helps cut down on the pre trip packing. we also bought a cheap outdoor carpet to help keep some of the dirt out of the camper. My three kids don't seem to know how to take their shoes off.

whats your tow vehicle?

We will tow with a Honda Oddessy Mini van. This is great advice thanks so much. I will search out those items this week.
