Jayco 806 Popup Electrical Issues

Help!
Power lasts about two hours on our 2006 Jayco 806 Popup when we are plugged in. The Converter has been replaced. Any thoughts on what is causing this? Dealer is not finding anything wong.

Are you blowing fuses?
How much current are you using at the time?
Size of Converter?
More info needed.

Thanks for responding. We are not blowing any fuses. The converter is a new ELX 25. We were running the frig and just testing the lights. Last night we unplugged the frig hoping that might be the problem. We tested the lights in the morning and they were fine. This evening they are dim and beeping.

Sounds like the 12V side of the converter is overheating / shutting off / then the battery drains out. Some new converters will auto-kill when overheated - overloaded.....then restart on power fail

Is the battery good?

Based on your description of "dim and beeping" it sounds like the converter is not supplying any power at all. Your battery is running down. That would explain the dim lights and the propane detector beeping on low voltage.

This condition should be easily solved by a competent RV dealer service department.

Plugged into shore power? No breakers tripped? Air conditioner working?

We don't have the battery in, just running from outlet in garage. We even tried another outlet in the house.

No battery hooked up? That being the case you have a defective converter. Even a new one can be bad.

This is the second converter, the first one they said was bad. I think there must be another problem that is damaging the converters?

The camper is not hooked to our vehicle, just sitting in the driveway.
