Jayco Easy Lift Handles

Hi, new to RV and new to the forum so please be gentle.
I have a Jayco 13ft 2013 Starcraft pop-up. I find that when I lift the roof the easy lift handles/bars basically touch the ceiling as I lift.
Is this normal? And is there a way to adjust these please to get some clearance as I'm afraid of damaging the ceiling.
Thanks in advance

Welcome!

Not too many Australia members here, if any, other than you. Jayco Australia is a completely different company than the one in the US. To my knowledge, nothing using "Easy Lift" bars was ever made here. Jayco pop-ups in the US were full canvas models with a crank lift system.

Thank you. That would explain why I'm struggling to find anything online about it other than spare parts
For clarity, easy lift is a system that uses 2 handles to lift the roof rather than a crank system or pulley.
Thanks for the welcome and reply
