King Mattress Size? - 2008 Jay Series 1007

We want to get padding under our mattress on the front of our popup.
It is a king size bed but I know they are not exact king size.

Does anyone know the sizing of the king bed area?
We are having a custom pad cut from the local foam company.

I can possibly check that for you tomorrow. I have a 2010 1007 with the king and double beds. I measured it once to shop sheets at Wal-Mart (and like you said, the pop up king is different in size than a regular king). I just can't recall what it measured now, maybe 72x76, but I'll look tomorrow.

I have a 99 with king bunks. O seem to recall they were 70x80. I ended up finding mattress pads on clearance at WalMart and used an electric knife to trim then to fit. I put mine on the top of the mattress though and put foam anti fatigue mats under the mattress. Seems to work well.

I'm late in my reply and I apologize. I got to the camper today which is in storage and measured the king size mattress. It is 70"x76".
