A lot depends on your fix-it abilities and comprehension of the lift system. Do your research then you can decide the best approach for you.

Lifting system

A piece broke off where the cables attach, and they replaced it. A quick fix. They also did a diagnostic on the surge brakes, and found that they are not working, and suggested converting to electric. Is this a easy transition? Thanks.

New to the forum here. Just left the Jayco dealer with my 2011 12E Baha popup and I got the same news you did back in 2015. Seems the pressure fill leaked inside and the driver side rear lift broke off due to rotten wood. I bought used, no warranty. My dealer estimated $3-4K though..... How did you make out?
