loose roof vent

I have a problem with my new 2014 Sport 10 popup. I can't get the roof vent lid to close tightly. The knob turns counterclockwise to close the lid but when I try to close it tightly it just unscrews the screw holding the knob on. When I tighten the lid as much as I can (without unscrewing the knob) the lid works its way open when I drive on the highway. I tried duct tape but even that failed after 200 miles.

Anybody encounter this problem? Solutions (short of gluing the lid shut)?

A 2014 model - can you have the dealer fix it under warranty?

A warranty visit to the dealer is one thing I considered but he is 1 1/2 hrs. away and I wanted to see if anyone had a solution I could try without hauling the camper to the dealer. A friend suggested using Loctite blue on the screw to keep it from backing out. Anyone have any experience with Loctite?

Loctite would be the best option. It REALLY keeps the nuts to the bolts!

A dab of loctite should do the trick.. BUT since it appears to be under warranty I would have the dealer look at it incase there is another problem
