low point valve

On a Jayco Select Baja 14HW, I need to find the low point valve for the water storage tank. I crawled underneath, and looked all over the tank. There is no visible valve, and no pipe that would lead to a valve. The lowest point in the entire system is the line that goes from the tank below the frame and then up to the pump. I could put in a T and attach a drain valve. The pump will pull most of the water out, but there is always a little left in the tank. I store the pup inside, so I have no fear of freezing, but I am concerned about contamination from stagnant water.

You can attach a short length of hose to the existing valve and bring it out to a new valve on the frame edge to make your life much easier. Ours was up behind the axle springs and damn near impossible to reach. I suffered like that for 7 years before I broke the valve - less than $10 in parts and life got MUCH easier. Why didn't I do that sooner????

Great suggestion. I found the feed line from the tank to the pump. I considered putting in a "T" and putting a valve immediately behind side frame rail. This line is the lowest point in the entire system, and would make a great and accessible drain point.
