Maximum Wheels

Greetings Jayco Owners,
I just purchased a 99 Eagle 8. Great shape, but it is mighty pitched behind my TV, a 2012 JKU. Ordered the Dexter 2 5/8" lift for the Type 9 Torsion axle and curious if anyone would know if I can also increase the tire size without modification to the PUP to improve towing safety and ground clearance. Any help would be appreciated. New to PUPs

Not an easy question to answer. Normally, more clearance with a lift allows bigger tires, but - Different tire size depends on your wheels, and different wheels depends on your axle. etc. People who do this generally do a lot of measuring and guessing along with some trial and error.

The easiest way to level the trailer while towing is to use a longer drop hitch. You want to tow the trailer level or just a bit nose down. Nose up is a recipe for sway.
