My respect young guys in keeping history alive in our waist society. It is very satisfying to upgrade your investment as a DY'er. By the time you're finished with it, it would be better then it did leave the factory. And Jayco is already a good product. Your own warranty (workmanship) is always the best......hmm that saying can be reversed too
Good luck! And I will watch this tread........John

So we got the front board off and found the winch and everything is still in working order but the cable is snapped so I need a new cable and to figure out how to replace the cable and how the system works ill post pictures as soon as I can of what I have found currently have our measurements and are currently removing the ice box which will stay with the camper but might be moved we have electricity powered on so it all works and have a small heater running keeping it pretty toasty

well we are finished for the night throwing all wood that is unnecessary away in burn pile got the random white box torn out and part of the dining set I have photos to upload of our progress on here probably will be tomorrow when I get them uploaded internet is being weird, the white box was an addition that p.o. Installed to extend the bench in the front as a couch but its going away ill build something to hide the cable system once I figure out how to fix it and then I'm building a small cabinet in the front right corner looks like there use to be one there anyway plus it will hide the winch too that might be where I put the ice box

Jayco might be able to provide a schematic for that lift system.
