Need help!

I am new to this forum and a new owner of a jayco popup. When attempting to lift the roof up this morning to pop up the roof and air out the camper, I missed one of the latches on the top partially. I cracked it up a bit and then discovered the latch still attached. Now, I can not get the right front corner to lift up with the rest of the roof. Did I beak something that now needs to get repaired? Or is there a way I can reset the lift mechanism to get this to function properly?

I discovered a broken I bolt that is now ready to be replaced. However, the cable now seems to be too long. Did the cable pop off the pulley I'm not able to see maybe?

You can still raise the roof, just place a 2x4 under the roof and on the bottom rail beside the affected post. You might have to open panels to check the cable route and the lifting floor bars as they bend easily. Also check the cable for breaks.

My popup trailer came with two "right sized" support metal U-SHAPED pieces I slip between the roof and side frame of the trailer to keep the top from falling down. I have these two support bars in place in opposite corners of the raised top. This also takes the weight off the cables as well after it is raised.

These snap around the lifting bars after the top has been raised.

Working around cranked up tops scares me hehe...
