Which water are you trying to drain? For water heaters it will depend on which of the two major suppliers you have. There are detailed instructions available for both with a quick check.
For your fresh water tank you are probably looking for a small white valve that turns 180° and usually on the curb side. There may also be a drain marked low point drain for your sink. Again a slow hands and knees trip around the outside of your unit will teach you a lot.
