need help on Installing Rooftop A/C unit

I am looking to put an A/C unit on the roof of my 1997 1207 KB pop up.
I am trying to find a Diagram or Schematic layout of the roof system so I know where to cut the hole through. Please any help will do.

Joe

Do you have a roof vent? If so, that’s the location to put it. If not, maybe a good stud finder could work

Thank you for your reply. I Do have a roof vent, however it is offset to the side and don't think the unit will fit there. I did send my vin number to jayco and they actually sent me a drawing of the roof system. That should help.

That’s where it is on my 1993 1007, offset roof vent. Offset to the left side toward the rear.

I'm impressed you recieved a drawing on a 199x PU. Typically they purge the drawing when 10 years old.

If you install over an existing roof vent, all of the question about where the roof framing is removed from the situation. Mine has worked well in that location.
