Need Pop Up Parts / Paperwork

I was gifted a Jayco Pop up but it will need some work. Looking for parts to fit the model. All I have is a VIN. How can I use that to find the parts I need?

Welcome to JOF!

RVs aren't like cars. Aside from the lift system and the body and roof of the trailer, all the parts are generic and can be found on most other pop-ups and RVs. Many parts can be bought online through places like etrailer.com and Amazon.

Do you have any photos you can attach? And of the inside too so we can see the floor plan? We may be able to help you identify roughly what year it is and maybe even the model. Also, what kind of work does it need? People here may be able to point you in the right direction, or may have already made similar repairs.

Lot's of help is available here!

Thanks! I don’t have it in my possession yet. When I do, I will follow up.

I read on JOF somewhere that the VIN was used to id the model # and Year in older popups. Maybe do a little searching on here for that thread or someone may remember it.

Before I joined the Jayco family, I had a pop-up and frequented the Pop-up Portal forum which has lots of pop-up dedicated material like user manuals and just over 250K posts of modifying and repairing pop-ups (their stats are showing just over 1.2M posts altogether). You may be able to find some information and/or parts there also.
