New jayco, few issues

Hello all,

I have a few questions for all you newish jayco popup owners.

I just took home a 2019 jayco 12 ud.

1- the sink has problems draining (yes the dust cap outside is off). It drains for a few seconds, the stops. Oddly, then I swing the sink back, it starts draining fine. It's almost as if the flexible hose is in a bad position when the sink is in position. The sink is full of water, and there is no water flowing down by the trap. I have tried to reposition the drain hose a bit, but to no avail. Anyone have an easy solution for this?

2- the low end drain on the fresh water tank seems very slow. I am in the process of sanitizing, but draining the tanks is extremely long. Is this normal? The trailer is level side to side and front to back, but it just drains very slow.

3- im sure this is a defect, but the door lock is weird. I can lock it with the key, but it can be unlocked from the outside using any key, even just putting an object and turning the metal portion where your key goes unlocks the door.

4- I got 3 keys on both sets i got from Jayco. 1 is for the travel door, the other for the full size door, but I can't figure out the 3rd key. Even the dealer was stumped. There are no other locks anywhere. Anyone know what it could be for?

I see the 12ud as an outside shower as an option, if yours has that, then that might what the 3rd key is for? It's my "second" key for my SLX 267BHSW.

I don't have one, but maybe they gave me a key for it.

Odds are your drain hose was pinched or kinked for a long time and will not open up. Cheapo plastic stuff. Replace it with nylon braided hose and you should be fine.

On keys. Most of the keys are so easy to duplicate or standardized that it is hardly worth locking anything. Replace the locks for a few bucks.

Yea Im not too worried about the keys. I mean the door is held up with velco. If someone wants to get in, all they have to do is unvelcro a small part, put their hand in and unlock the door.

Our third key is for our cassette toilet door just to the right of the entry door.

I don't have a cassette toilet, outdoor shower or anything else that could possibly need a key. I just have the travel and full size door, but I'm really clueless as to why they provided 3 keys on both sets. I'm just going to assume it was a mistake from Jayco, and someone out there is missing a key for something.
