new owner of 2007 jay series 1206

Greetings ! New to the forums and new to owning a pop up. We just purchased this pop up from a friend and there are a few things to repair of course. one of the issues was an oops on our part. The Shepard hook on the pull out seems unstable and slipped out overnight and ended up somehow creating about a 2" tear through the canvas, screen, and the vinyl window. looking for some advice on repairing this. I think the larger problem is the bracket holding the shepard hook support rod. Has anyone had this issue? is there a place to find a replacement? Im also looking for a replacement side marker lens on the right side rear of the trailer and i cant find any kind of part number to try to look up. I would welcome any advice or suggestions. Thanks . Now back to scrolling through all these posts. Seems there is lots to learn .

If you have a Tractor Supply near you the should have a replacement side marker light. That's where I got mine.

I have patched canvas with a stick on patch that I then sewed into place and treated with extra sealant to prevent leaks. I also patched screens with a little piece of screen material that I glued on then added a few stitches around the edges to reinforce.

Saw this on clear plastic patches that might work, never used this product myself.

What sort of patches and sealant should I be using? I don't have much in the way of stores here and will likely be ordering online. Thank you for the help.

Sometimes, the whole light is almost as cheap as just the lens.

Does it have the word "Command" on it?

The original yes. Once the new one arrives I'll let you know. In the comments section someone did say it did fit theirs perfectly so we will see.

Command Electronics make a lot of lamps on Jayco's. All our markers, and the tail lamps are from them. They have a website, and you can buy directly from them, if you wish.
