New (to us) 14SO

We just bought a 2004 Eagle 14SO.

Wow! this thing is HUGE!

It pulls like a dream, no sway up to 70mph.

Can't wait to go camping!

I'll post pics once we get it all set up

No way that's a 2004! It's in too good of shape! Congratulations on such a great find, and welcome to The Forum!

So while I was towing this, I noticed the electric brakes didn't do very much.
I took the hubs/drums off ... OMG! There's no linings left on the shoes, everything is rusty. 2 of the actuator arms are bent.

Now, I need to replace all 4 brake assemblies. BIG SIGH!

So, I have now replaced the brake assemblies, drums, bearings AND tires. It should pull even better! That was a lot of work to do!

Interesting - I have an identical year and model Jayco Eagle 14S0 that was bought lightly used in 2007. I also discovered last year that the brakes were shot, and had to put in new brake assemblies, bearings and tires. At least the drums were OK! My wife and I have enjoyed the PUP for many years, pulling it with our Isuzu Trooper V6. However, we recently upsized to a 2010 Titan PU, and bought a Jayco Eagle Flight 26DLH travel trailer, so have the 2004 PUP for sale in the Phoenix area.

Nice camper, looks like brand new. We also have a 14 foot box. It's typically just my my wife and i camping so we have plenty of space.

Where did you find the long white hanging shelves?
