Plans ?

We planning for Mackinaw, Oshkosh EAA Aircraft Fly In, Bad Lands, Rushmore and North Lake Superior Route.

We went to Ft. DeSoto FL the first week of March, caught some spring training baseball. Also hit Pace Bend County Park just west of Austin two or three weekends ago. And 4/24 I'm heading down with the guys to Port Aransas for some camping on the beach. Probably do another beach trip to Padre Island National Seashore with the family later this summer.. Also have the Art Outside festival booked, sometime in October I think.

When you do Rushmore do crazy horse, needles highway, Custer state park, sylvan lake.

my camping plans just got cancelled. Wednesday the weather man said 2-4 inches of rain. wed. night I looked outside and found 16 inches of water in my yard. I packed a few things and we got in our vehicles and left. we got over 26 inches of rain.it got about 30 inches deep in my yard. my neighbor said my popup floated several hours before it sunk. he said it was strange to see the popup floating and my boat sinking. the good news is it never got in the camper I live in and everything can be saved.

Sorry to hear bout your misfortune. From the news/weather reposts, it looks like Pensacola got hit pretty badly. Glad you are all safe, and the boat & pop-up can be saved. Good luck with the clean-up.

We had plans starting this month through October that were made starting last December. Now I'm cancelling them month by month as I have rotator cuff surgery next week. Doc says 3 months recovery so we may get out in August and don't need to cancel the entire summer.
