Power Ceiling Fan Necessary???
We purchased a new popup in November, it does not have a power ceiling fan. Would we benefit by having one installed or is a power ceiling fan not really needed? Your thoughts?

I'm not sure why you would need one. A popup has a gazillion windows that roll up/down to let in all the air flow you will need.

Thanks for replying to my question! We thought the same, but we continue to see powered fans on in-stock popups, we thought we'd poll the membership to get some opinions about the subject. I would think there is plenty of air, but when everything is tight during rainy weather, would having a fan draw in some air and draw out some humidity? Other than that, I see no reason for the upgrade.

I guess you are talking about the FANTASTIC TYPE ROOF FANs. I don't think we could get by without one. These pull air out of the trailer and you can crack a couple of window flaps and really enjoy the night air being pulled through the trailer..
I am very glad I have one for sure. We depend on the roof FANTASTIC fan to draw in cool air when camping off the power grid which we do the most.
We also love the 10-inch O-2 COOL AC/DC/D-CELL fans from WALMART -LOWES. I have two of these and they are wisper quit and really move the air inside my off-road POPUP.

A max air roof vent cover is great, it allows you to have the vent open, and the rain can no get in

I retired nearly 7 years ago after serving the community for 30 years as a firefighter/paramedic. Such a fantastic career choice.

Thanks Roy, I truly appreciate your comment about the fan and the recommendation for the O-2 Cool. Thanks!

We purchased a Max Air cover, I'll be installing it before our first outing of the year. Thanks!
