Power converter

Hey, just bought our very first (yayyy!!) '96 1207 and apparently it needs a new power converter. Has anyone replaced theirs and know what it's needed? Since Carson is no longer, what would be the modern version of this?
I'm in Canada so what's the specs I should be looking for?
I'm very inexperienced in this 😮

I replaced mine a few years ago.
I pulled the numbers off and googled it.
If you don't find exact information, usually a number you can call and they will cross reference it.
There was only 4 screws to remove, 2-3 wires. Took me all of 15 minutes.

Might contact these folks. Once you get a reco, maybe shop around for pricing.

Easy job. Not really much to the specs, so long as it will charge your battery and run your 12v loads. I would take a look at what is in a newer 1207 (or new 12UD is the closest I think). The specs for a new one will certainly run the loads for an older trailer as we tend to keep adding more toys. All you really have is 110V in and 12V out. Needs enough output current to run everything.

RV converter charger

I replaced my WFCO 35 with a Progressive Dynamics 60 as I wanted more charge capability for a larger battery. It was an easy process and increased both my 12v and 110v capacity. Circuits transferred one for one. I also increased my neutral and ground buss.
