Power Problem

I have a 2006 Jay series 1207 pop-up. I am having a power problem with my 12 volt accessories ( lights and exhaust fan ). When I turn on any one of these items the low voltage alarm goes off on my Elixir power converter? The manual says the alarm is due to power demand. I only have one thing on ?? Any advice would be gladly appreciated.

what are you plugged into Campground AC or home AC or on battery?

Check to see if your ground wire to frame is corroded or broken.

Thanks. I will clean up the connection and report back later this week.

Power problems

I cleaned up the connection to the frame. It was in pretty good shape. It had no affect.

I have the same problem in my 2007. Same model.

I've noticed that switching the 15 amp breaker off and back on temporarily fixes the problem. But the noise comes back when I turn my 12v light off and later turn it back on.

I've also noticed if I leave something 12v on, like the vent fan, I can turn other 12v things on and off (like lights) and I don't get the sound.

It's only when all 12v accessories are off for a bit and then I try to turn one on that the sound comes back.

I do know my battery needs to be replaced, but I wonder if the converter is bad too.
