Angry Power roof lift failure - help

Hey everybody. I have a 1007 and the electric motor will not bring the roof down. The Lippert circuit board control is clicking whenever I try to engage the system. I've tried both the key fob and door control, the battery has a full charge, are there isn't any binding in the cables. I know about the manual override option and will use it if I have to. Thank you.

Check the battery connections a loose connection at either terminal could cause "low power" clicking.

Angry More troubleshooting

Okay, so i just got back from a long weekend of camping with the family. Luckily for me, the power lift works just fine on A/C power. I did a little troubleshooting today. Ed505, I checked all the connections, fuses, and circuit breakers and they're all OK. With my ammeter hooked up to the power in to the Lippert control panel, I get 12.74 volts. When actuating the system, it drops to 12.70 but i get the same clicking noise. I hooked up my TV to the PUP with my jumper cables and the power in to the Lippert control panel dropped to ~3 volts. I am perplexed and almost ready to let a dealer charge me ungodly amounts of $ to fix this. Any ideas?

What happens if you pull the motor loose? Is the motor bound up somehow? cables? Check draw with the motor loose maybe shorted winding's drawing more than normal. could the TT plug be miss wired? With out seeing the unit is sounds like low voltage or a binding motor. The voltage drop hooked is a mystery look for a bad ground or crossed wires.

Do you have a problem raising the roof with your remote? When I start raising my roof with my remote it goes up for 6 inches then stops and no button pushing will raise it anymore. I can reach into the door and use the manual buttons and it raises just fine. The battery is fully charged and the remote has new batteries.
