Propane tank holder on 2018 10SD

On my stock 10SD, the propane tank holder is only 2 tiny screws that bolts on the tongue. I don't think this is very secure, and the screws will probably go through the hole on the long run. And it is also very cumbersome to remove/replace the tank, as the screws are not easily accessible. Furthermore, the tank wobbles a lot while travelling and at some occasions other motorists would flag us because they thought the tank was about to fall off (the cover does not hold well).

IMHO, this is very bad design.

So, I wonder if there is some aftermarket kit I could bolt onto the existing holder (which consists of 2 bars soldered on the tongue with holes for the propane tank and the battery). Do you know of such a thing? I saw other campers which have very decent tank holders with a hoop you can unscrew to free the tank.

I am also considering a welding shop to make a custom one.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,
Michel

My 195RB and about a million other SLX models use two quarter inch bolts to hold the LP tank in place. Really difficult to get on and off.

I replaced them with two hitch coupler safety pins. Like these
Curt Manufacturing Cur25080 Coupler Safety Pin 1/4" Diameter x 3"

Easy on and off, strong enough to hold the hitch couple shut on the ball.
