Queen end plywood base replacement

Hey guys im about to replace the plywood bed base in my 2001 eagle because of sag issues on the join has anyone done this repair and what did you use??. Was thinking about some ally checker plate but a little concerned about the cold coming through !! but i don't really want another join in the plywood and ending with the same result in a couple of years any advice would be greatly appreciated

We call it diamond plate up here... and I don't think it will support you... maybe just go with a slightly thicker chunk of plywood.. Mine has 2x2's underneath to help spread the weight out.

Agree w/ Seann45. Use the next thicker plywood and put a few supports to beef it up.
