Angry Repair Help Please

Was cranking up my Jayco pop-up and just as I had it almost fully up, one of the back bars let loose and the top dropped about six inches.... What can I do to fix this.... I don't see how to remove or replace the riser....

It sounds like the cable broke for that corner.

Sounds like a broken cable. Very fixable. I have done it on an old starcraft PU, many times, but the lift system was much different then Jayco's. If you are handy, call Jayco with you Vin number and ask for the drawing and part list for the lift assembly. Otherwise contact a local rv repair facility.
