Roof racks

Hi all,

I haven't been able to find any threads on a roof rack system for a tent trailer.

We bought a 10SD and I want to haul our bikes around with us. Currently, we have to put all the bikes in the back of the van.

Does anyone know of a roof bar system that doesn't need to be screwed into the roof and can attach to the channels on the edges? looked at the Sportrack system and it appears to only be lag bolted in.

No room left on the A frame at the front to mount a rack.

thanks, Trevor

I went with a SportRack. It worked well with just the T-slot on my roof edges. We had four bike rails up there. No lag bolts or screws and I could move the rack bars as needed when I put kayaks up there instead of bikes. I just changed out the bike rails for the kayak supports.Click image for larger version

Yakima or Thule

YAKIMA has many ways to adapt their roof rack systems.
THULE would be my 2nd choice

36fire412 & Kayakterp, thank you for your replies to this question, a great one btw and perfect timing. I was just getting ready to start looking for a roof rack for my popup because I just got my first hard body kayak. Your answers were fantastic, lets me look into the type I want.
