Rug or tarp

I'm looking for suggestions for what to use on the ground, under the awning in front of my camper. Do most folks use some type of carpet or just a tarp? I've looked at those patio mats on Camping Worlds website but they seem a little expensive. Type of product and sources if you can please. Thanks!

Tarp you'll trip. Patio mats works the best and are not that expensive at Cosco or other Big Box store.

As already said, patio mat.

They clean up easily, dry quickly, and water just passes right on through - no puddles.

Buy the patio mat. They dry quick when it rains and not slick like tarps. I have one that's 13yrs.old A good one last a long time.

Another vote for a patio mat. And get one that's a little bigger than you think you need.

Porous patio mat. Clean up easy and there are campgrounds that prohibit tarps because they can kill the grass.

If you start small with a patio mat (to see if you want to spend more for a bigger one), go to a "5 Below" store and grab a mat of the same material for the door step (I think it's a 4x6). If you like it, go spend the $50 for a big one. If not, you spent $5 and found out the cheap way.

Patio mat where when on rock or dirt...or nothing on grass. Patio Mats, tarps etc all will kill grass within a few days, hence most campgrounds that have grass don't allow anything...it's nice for you and the next two or three weeks it's dirt and dead grass..

Happy Camping...
