sink water issues in my jayco

so we took our 93 jayco pop up out this last weekend for the first time and this is my first time having a camper so hooking water up pretty self explanatory hook up the white hose to the water hookup hook it to the water supply so everything worked fine but the only issue is the sink would constantly have water running like water was getting past the valve it has the pump style faucet i did read that sometimes you need a regulator to control the water pressure could this be the issue to high of water pressure if so what is a good water pressure to be at

Most regulators for rv's are set around 50 psi.

To me, sounds like there's a problem with the faucet. Connected to the CG water supply you should be able to shut all faucets off (just like home) even if the water pressure is too high. High water pressure will most likely cause leaks or pop a crimped connection in the plumbing. A regulator is a good idea, Wally world sells them as do most RV parts places.
