Stabilizers on Sport Models

The sport models only have 2 stabilizers rather than the 4 included on the Jay models. I would like to add stabilizers to the front of my 2013 Sport 10 pop up.

Questions I have are: Does Jayco use the same frame for both the Jay and sport series campers? Are the holes predrilled in the trailers for the stabilizers.
Would adding additional stabilizer effect the warranty if I had to drill holes in the frame to mount them?

I believe the frame is slightly different. The holes are not pre-drilled, but are you looking at just adding the small foot or the large scissor stabilizer?

Adding should not void the warranty, but you may want to check with your dealer, or call Jayco directly.

There does not seem to be a whole lot of knowledge at the dealership for information on Pups.

I am trying to see if adding front stabilizers will make the unit less likely to move. Even on fairly level ground, the camper will roll a little if it is not wheel chocked. I never had this tendency with my other pups. I am guessing that it has to do with the lack of stabilizers and light tongue weight of a sport 10 series camper.

2013 Sport looks like it might be a Starcraft built unit, especially if it has the front mounted winch...not 100% sure though. Sport series looks a lot like the Starcraft Comet...might have the same front stabalizers

May I ask why you feel that you need extra stabilizers at the front. We have a Sprt 10. Never an issue w/o

You should always be using wheel chocks - even on level ground! If you're still getting some bounce in the front end (and you're worried about drilling holes in the frame), you could always use a couple of the "tri-pod" style, portable jacks that have the treaded rod in the top for adjusting the height. I see a lot of them under pop-ups at camp grounds (even under travel trailers)!

when i had my 2011 they could not put them on because of the lifter system and the tubes that run under neath
