Travel Door Gap

I just purchased a used 2007 1206 Pop up - and when we arrived home to park it, I noticed about a 1 inch gap at top. It’s between trailer top and top of travel door... not sure why but I notice there is also a strip piece missing on top of door?

Advice appreciated

On our 2003 Jayco the strip on top of our door is broken. It only covers about half of the door. Haven't replaced it yet.

I discovered a gap on my 2010 Jaco M-1107 after its purchase. Here's the thread I started on it. I think there were 14 responses.

I found an economical fix at Lowe's. Here's a link to that fix.

I hope this helps. Contact me if if you find it useful and need clarification. If you find it useless, tell my kids. They think some of my help is as well. :-)

Thank you soooo much - the eBay link in old thread at least got me to the point I knew what I was looking for. The entire piece was off so I had no idea what it looked like! You were right that the eBay offer is sold out but I will try to find elsewhere- any ideas?

Another good parts source for pup parts is Pop-Up Parts, Specializing in Folding Trailer Parts

They have all kinds of obscure stuff including moldings, but searching can be a bit if a chore.

ETA: Pretty sure this is the one here:

Found an easy cheap fix that worked amazing! Bought a step/stair molding from Home Depot and trimmed it - can’t believe how well it worked!
