U shaped dinette table

Anyone know where can get a replacement table for the u shaped dinette in a 2012 Jay series sport 12.... Had to set it up as a bed this weekend and it got broke on the corner when the kid (against my wishes) stepped on it instead of sitting and rolling .... It broke on the small corner.... Good CHEAP particle board.....

Hi JaycoKev, We had the same thing happen to our 2011 Jayco shortly before we traded it in 2 yrs ago. We ordered a new table top from the dealer. It cost us $220 shipping included. Hope this helps.

Good EXPENSIVE particle board. Buy some 1/2 or 3/4" plywood (to match the original dimension), a nice laminate, contact cement, and edging. SB a fair sight cheaper than $220 and a fun afternoon project. And that will probably hold the weight of anyone.

My thoughts exactly. Glue 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood together and cut them to match your existing table top. Find some laminate from your local home center and glue it on. Figure that costs about $50 for everything... a couple dollars more if you need to buy a router to make smooth edges. WAY cheaper than the crap Jayco provides and way more robust.

I contacted Jayco direct and got the part number for the U-Shape dinette table top only and then called a local Jayco dealer and it is $46.99 plus shipping and that will be about $25-$30..... Not near as bad as I thought it would be....

But gonna take the old one and use as a template to cut out some sturdy plywood to have if we ever need to use it as a bed again.... Gonna get the table to have in case we ever sell or trade up...
