Water leak

Hi, I have a Jayco Swift outback and when filling the water tanks using the mains, I notice water leaking from the rear of the van on the side of the kitchen. When looking in the cupboards under the sink, there was a significant amount of water. I can’t understand what the link is between filling up the water tanks and water leaking from the kitchen? Any help would be appreciated!

Are you filling via the filler port on the side or are you connecting to city water to the city water connection.

If you are using the city water connection there is pressure in the whole system and you have a leak under the sink. It should still leak any time you are connected to city water.

I have never heard of filling your tanks via the city water connection. Pretty sure you would have to run it past a back flow preventer.

Could you explain a little more?

Mention your model and year?

Without knowing the layout of your camper, I have to wonder if your tank fill line is leaking and causing water to leave your fill pipe and flood your interior.

If you connect to your city water inlet, does it leak?
