What is this part?

I'm in the middle of renovating a 1994 Jayco 1207 Pop-Up Camper that was in pretty rough shape when I got it. New to this! Does anyone know what this part is or what it goes to?

Those go around your lift arms, one on either side, to prevent the roof from collapsing if the lift cable should break. Put one on the front of one side, and the other on the rear of the other side. My old 2001 pop-up had them.

Safety bars

I dont know what those parts are called. They were missing when I bought my trailer. I made my own out of angle iron. They have worked great for years.

The proper name of those is "pop up camper roof safety brace".

This one's on E Bay. https://www.ebay.com/i/133083236289?...SABEgKTEPD_BwE

My buddies used pop up camper came without them. He used 4-2x4s painted to match his camper and no one knew any different. They are just there in case a cable breaks.

I use the angle iron to hug the lift bars that raise the camper then the fabric shrouds are able to completely cover the angle iron and the lift bars all together. I have two pieces of angle iron and place them on opposite corners of the camper.
