New to Jayco, but RVing for decades. Always prefer our beverages (especially wine) from glass. Had tried various ways to protect the glass (paper towels; tea towels; cardboard dividers). All were a necessary nuisance.
Saw an idea to use old socks. Old socks? Eww! Liked the basic idea, so bought lightweight tennis style socks (10 pairs for $12?). Perfect. They stretch to totally cover, including stem wineglasses. The glasses are stored in a plastic tray along with plastic glasses to be sure everything is sitting snug.
One advantage we found, quite by accident. My husband knocked a wine glass (in the sock) out of the cupboard and, of course, it broke. All the glass was contained in the sock and clean up was a breeze - everything in the garbage. When storing, I put the glass in with the "down" edge in the toe, and the sock top up. Should we encounter enough "turbulence" that a glass breaks while driving , the open end is up and the glass is contained.
