Once you take the skirts off the sofa, the couch has 4 mounting bolts (if they secured them all) then it lifts right out. I was amazed at how light it was. If you have the 35UP, there seems to be an electric run coming out of the kitchen cabinet behind the sofa on the left that runs up under the wall to the overhead cabinets, which has an outlet. You could tap in and wire an outlet there. I bought a reclining loveseat from Kanes that I plan on installing, but it will require extending the existing platform about 9". Between that and removing the legs from the window valance, I should have plenty of room. We saw a lot of RV couches, but wanted to be able to lie down across the sofa as well, so we didn't want the center console. Work in progress...
