Golferdave78. pretty straight forward. Have your propane on, power on..gen or shore....set your thermostat at the desired temp. Leave yourself enough time before you actually NEED the furnace to run it. It will put out a burnt smell for a while. It has to burn off any residue on the burner or in the fire box. Probably best to open doors/windows and you can run your AC (ON FAN) to move the air. After the furnace goes through a couple of cycles, it should start putting out clean air.
Very important: never block any, ANY, furnace vents and leave the return air unblocked as well.
