Spent the last month boondocking around a few of Michigan UP's Hiawatha National Forest campgrounds. I camped at, and/or walked through Brevoort Lake CG (camped), Bay View CG, Lake Michigan CG, Soldier Lake CG (camped), and Three Lakes CG. I really liked Soldier Lake CG..; no electricity or dump station, but has pressurized water spigots and clean vault toilets.

The CG is about an hour tow from the Big Mack, located between the Soo Locks and Tahquamenon Falls. The campground has about 45 well wooded campsites with most located around the perimeter (or view of) of Soldier Lake.
I camped on two different sites at Soldier Lake.......,
Site #39 back of cg .....,
Site #7 on the lake ......,
A very nice and quiet CG, with lots of places to visit in this area of the UP.
