Here is my "OLD" diagram of how SOLAR was incorporated into our EAGLES existing TT wiring... utilizing (1) SOLAR panel, a SOLAR charge controller and an inverter. 
(2) 6 volt batteries, I will be updating this diagram soon.

    Good diagram. You are electronics guy no doubt. Curious, by backfeeding the 110v from the inverter, doesn't the shore-power charger kick in and use extra power automatically, or do you have a way to avoid that happening?

    I have similar setup. You have to turn off the Converter/charger (by flipping the breaker for it) before plugging the shore power cord into the inverter.
