Mueller State Park, Divide Colorado
45 miles from Colorado Springs and just north of Cripple Creek and Victor gold towns. We originally opted for The Crags but its still under floorboard deep snow/ice (17 Mar, 16). A few sites were open and 5 other campers were in the park. Planned for two days but a surprise weather forecast predicted high winds and 4-5" of snow the 2nd night. Stayed 1 night to test the systems out and played it safe, packed up, and bought our annual pass on the way out. Good thing to! 16" of snow fell, blizzard conditions, and the CO National Guard were helping stranded drivers on I-25 - all major roads were shut down. Such is Spring in Colorado high country!

Its not wise to fool with Mother Nature!
