I had all my chassis work done for $270 in labor. I work too much overtime to do this stuff. $400 labor is crazy high for just shock install.

I have safetsteer and did chf. Did you install shocks? I got a quote of 400 for install. How does that sound?

I did the CHF front and rear, SafeTsteer and the Koni's all at the same time so it's hard to narrow down to just the shocks BUT it really made the ride so much smoother than the Bilstiens. We have a mountain pass close to our house with a very rough road surface expansion joints and pot holes and the ride was vastly improved. We can still feel the bumps but not like the old shocks. Koni's have a completely different valving system than the Bilsteins, Monroe and Sachs so you pay more for it. I fortunately have the income to be able to afford the better technology in shocks.

What did the Koni shock do for your ride handling? Did it help smooth expansion joints-pot holes?
