I never trust a sliding door lock. I use a piece of 1¨x 3¨wood placed in the track behind the sliding door to effectively wedge the door from opening. Though this will definitely keep the honest person out the criminal will just smash the glass and do as they please .

How do you like the sliding doors on this trailer? We have a new 29RLDS with the sliding door and not really sure about the lock on ours. Doesn't seem very secure? Do you think it would be difficult to change the lock?
