Never pay attention to PMs but noticed your note. We LOVE NM. Spend months at a time in Santa Fe-not yet this year because of Covid. Made reservation at our favorite, Santa Fe KOA, last fall, Sept & Oct. Hope we'll still be able to. In past, we would have already been down at least once-our tradition to go day after Easter.

Added Sumo Springs and a Hellwig Stabilizer Bar in 2017. Feel Class Cs are squirly in wind; before adding those, we'd be knocked by passing semis. Can't explain huge difference. Still scary to drive in 35+ mph winds-try to avoid as much as possible-always windy in WY. Stretch between our town, Moab, Cortez and Farmington can be a real thrill; we prefer that to I-80 to I-25. Two sons live in Denver-sometimes go that way to visit!

Love our Melbourne. When we see other units, we say we wouldn't trade for anything (maybe a Prevost with private driver). If you want beauty, come to our area near Wind River & Uinta Mountain ranges, two awesome places to camp! Wes&Terri

    Koko.....
I like what you post...I'm Jim Wagner in Albuquerque.
I've been reading and using this website since my wife and I bought our 2017 Melbourne 24M in the summer of 2017.
Your posts are reasonable and useful....!
Have you added a front-end stablizer bar, I think that's what they're called. From time to time, I read about someone adding one, but it's usually to a different unit....
    We love our Melbourne.
Thanks and safe travels....If you come to New Mexico and want ideas for places to stay and visit, we'll come up with some......Cheers......Jim

Koko: Based in part on your ease of use of towing your Jeep behind the Melbourne, I am on the verge of buying the tow apparatus. Blue Ox has been suggested......I also am told there are steps that are essential to prepare the Jeep for the tow. Transfer case, park, neutral, key placement, etc. Wonder if there is a checklist that I should have.....................Anything else I should know will be appreciated.. Thanks.. Jim
