Hi! We are scheduled for a crack repair (and the balance of outstanding service bulletins) for May 2020 at Vogt RV in Ft Worth. Jayco is backed up for repairs through July, and Vogt could take us as soon as December 2019, but we can't get there that fast. We are in FLA and booked as far west as ALA in March. We tend to stay in locations for 2-4 weeks at a time. We wont be adding any more miles to the crack; we'll just taking more time to get there.

I am more comfortable with Vogt RV than Jayco and it pre-positions us to get to Southwest for a winter rather than race south from Middlebury IN in late Summer.

Thanks for the kind welcome. We are actually moving in the rig today for another shakedown stay, this time for 4 nights and 5 days. This time also with 2 of the 4 cats along with the 4 small dogs. We are a mile from the house so we can check on things but otherwise use the time to set up house, learn systems and make more notes.
The truck is actually a Ford F350. We visited with Ford, GM and tried to visit Dodge twice but could not get anyone to help me (!). Didn't know a lot but uckily we have lots of local friends and neighbors with professional knowledge of Heavy trucks.

We go FT in April but will stay local for a few months while I am still working locally. Then we stay near GA and FL for a while since Joan's parents in FL are advanced in age and may need assistance at times. So sure we'll be in the regional neighborhood and maybe cross paths with you.

All the best ans thanks for the props

Welcome from South Georgia, Vienna actually. Hope you guys are enjoying the new Pinnacle and Ram. We upgraded a few years back to our first 5th wheel, a 2014 Jayco Eagle and love it. Then upgraded to a 2015 Ram 2500 with the 6.7L Cummins and loving that too. Good luck on selling the house and maybe our paths will cross one day.
