Could use some advice. I had a company de-winterize my RV and that included sanitating the water lines. We are getting ready for our first trip of the year, I go to fill the tank about 1/3 as I always do and it says 2/3 full.
I went to the low point drains and opened it all up, sure enough it's filled with what I imagine is the concoction that they used to sanitize the lines. My question; is that normal? That water has been sitting in 90% heat for the last 4 weeks, which perhaps it's not a problem because it's a cleaning concoction? Again is that normal.
If not I plan to drain the water, fill the tank and drain it again before our trip and we won't drink the water until I get them to re-sanitize the lines.
I'm guessing if I do this at least we can use the fresh water to shower? Sorry for the long email it's our second season and we bought the RV off the lot and hadn't run into this issue.
