The next issue you’re going to have is the refrigerator. If you have a Norcold - and there’s an exterior bottom and top vent (plastic grill) in the slide, check to make sure they don’t have it covered with wood. Yup, that’s correct - we almost had a fire in ours while camping. It’s their design, but a very poor one. Their design doesn’t allow for proper air ventilation, which causes the refrigerator to constantly overheat, and cut off. I’ve installed a series of fans in the top, along with a small fan for the actual interior of the refrigerator, that mounts on the fins.
Hopefully I’m wrong and you won’t have this issue. Jayco really cheaped out on these models.

    Good luck!

    Lance,

I hope all is well with your family. How are the Sumo’s working for you? Have you had a chance to get out of Quarantine and enjoy the outdoors? All of our state parks are still shut down, but a KOA close by us is open with restrictions, so we took the opportunity to go for a couple days. The weather finally got nice and it was extremely pleasant to just get out for a nice walk or bike ride. California is keeping the fishing season closed until the end of May, I’m assuming it will be the same with a lot of recreational activities until then.

What are some of main issues you encountered with the 30.5 CKTS? I would like to address these with the dealer before purchasing the RV. Thanks!
