Not any of the private parks are all that great. When we first started going maybe 16 years ago we stayed at Elk Meadows. The owner and staff were not friendly and customer service was zero. After a few years we changed to Manor RV Park which has great people but the park itself is not kept up very well. The sites are kind of small and you park on gravel, if there is any. Most sites have a concrete pad with a picnic table. The roads were mostly asphalt when we first started going there but now are mostly dirt. This past September we had all our windows open when a dust devil kicked up and filled our Pinnacle with a nice layer of dust. The town of Estes is pretty neat with lots of shops and good places to eat. The park is our favorite in the country. The town of Estes has an rv park at Mary's Lake while not great either might have better rates.
