My most recent trailer was picked up on Saturday, pulled 3 hours Sunday for its first trip.

I've never camped in the driveway...

We have did camp driveway with each new TT we have owned.

We did the driveway camping trip and im glad we did because in the middle of the night the CO alarm went off. Ran out side and the regulator was blowing out all of the propane. Glad we weren't a few hours away from home. The neighborhood reaked of propane for a good half hour.

Being newbies this year we camped a few nights in our new TT before we hit the road. Tried everything out and familiarized ourselves with the appliances etc. Great way to work out any bugs before you get too far from home.

Not in the driveway. Did go to a campground only about 30 minutes away. Worked out a bunch of problems that way, major problems at that. Did not get all the problems worked out for at least two trips.

Check things over; Fill the Freshwater; Load the unit and go..........never ever camped at home in the driveway.
Closest campsite was 240 km/150 miles
Fine Adjustment of the DWH-SC I do on the road.

Have a weight flow chart for TV and TT so I know my weight of everything.
Don't like to be send by a cop to a weigh scale way off route.
When I meet a scale I will go over it to check all the weights.
TW I do at home, but will never varies much.

We did the same. I don't think our rig will fully fit in the driveway.

Nope, but drove from the dealer to Wal-Mart to the house to pack to the camp ground
