Black Water Pipe Storage

2 Attachment(s)
Hello friends,
How do you store your black water pipe?
Ineed the beginning I tried the tube bumper, and that's a joke. I have since built a what I call a generator cage (removable) on the rear of my rv. And tried to store the pipe in a bucket once again that's not for me. And now just fold it up on the floor of the gen cage.
So I guess I'm looking for better ideas for that nasty pipe.

Thanks in advance

It's attached with a double 2 inch reliever. Works really nice for gen, gas can, fish cooker, ect.Attachment 27508Attachment 27509

tub

We put ours in a plastic tube with latches that lock the top in place. All sewer hoses, fittings, and such go in this tub. We store it in the front storage compartment. We did this for years when we RV'ed in the early 2000's. Never had any problems with odor or mess.

I just put it in the bed of the truck.
Let it air out on the way to the next site.

Lots of folks use the 5X5 fence post cover and post caps from Lowes mounted under the trailer. Mine sits about 4" away from the black tank outlet, so stowing the stinky slinky is easy.
Note that the temporary zip tie mounting is replaced with metal strapping now - I was still fiddling around with placement when I took this photo.

I like the fence post idea. Have seen it on pintrest before.
My camping buddy basically turns germifobe when it comes to the details. It doesn't bother me to much, but it's always nice to find a better way

X2 5x5 fence post works great.

Have seen others mount the 5x5 fence post on top of the bumper using large zip ties.

X3 for the 5x5 fence post sleeve!!!

And you can buy some 4" u shaped gutter to use as a tray for the sewer hose. I have two in mine. I cut two just a little shorter than the fence post sleeve, then cut one of them in half. Work great as a sewer hose support if you are staying for a while at a full hook up site. And have a couple different lengths for different site set ups.

X4 for the fence post. Bought mine at Home Depot. Used a U bolt to mount it to the frame. Just drilled a couple holes in the L shaped lip under frame to slip the U bolts through. Works like a charm. Also used straight bolts through the ends with a nut and washer.

I purchased a Sanitube for ours but haven't been able to install it yet because our new TT is still being built.

I like that the length is adustable and it appears to be built well.
