Sewer Hose Accessories

We are about 10 days away from our first "big" trip with our camper. We are staying at 2 campgrounds that have full hookups. What do I need to securely connect my sewer pipe to the site's sewer drain?

I plan on getting a clear 45 elbow so I know when my black tank is rinsed (did the same thing on my boat and that's a great addition). Any recommendations on what clear 45 to get? I don't need one with a back flush since my camper came with the "tornado" tank rinse.

Thanks!

I don't use a clear 45 elbow so can't help with that. For dumping I (and many others) have a RhinoFlex hose. It comes with an adapter which will screw into *most* camp ground sewer connections. I say *most* because some just have a pipe sticking up in which case a doughnut or rag (disposable) along with something to weigh the elbow to the ground may be needed. A large gallon baggie filled with sand or water should be enough to hold the connection in.

The sites which have screw-in connections, the RhinoFlex works very well and is very secure.

Thanks nylyon and clubhouse. I ordered the RhinoFlex.

I also ordered the socket adapter for my jacks

Similar to you, I use a clear section, however it is straight, not 45 degrees.

Like many on this forum I use a Rhinoflex. To ensure the system flushes all the waste out I only open my black water holding tank lever when the tank is at least half full.:boring::)

If you used q clear section and a flusher you would be amazed what comes out, even after a couple of flushes.
