But I will say that it CLEARLY explains that you have to do this periodically, in the Jayco owner's manual... And the local dealer told me that they check them...

I was just looking at the space that is there from the factory, and there is maybe an inch of clearance. I can't stack two fingers in between the tire and fender, yet there is no sign of rubbing....

They fabricated spacers that will work with that set-up that you describe, with bolts on the sides and all. I'll have to scan the recall instructions and post them on here...just give me a few days.

I received the recall notice

When I got the recall notice, the complete repair instructions were attached...weird!

Anyways, they drop the dexter axle assemblies and install spacers of 2 - 5/8", so the trailer will now sit...
